之前已经发生过同样的意外,为什么还是没有多大的改善?

难道不能改进现有的地铁车厢的门口加一片伸缩版吗?

 

There was a similar accident that occurred before, why aren't there more massive changes to improve the situation?

Why can't they improvise the current train cabins by adding another platform / board between the gaps?

Just how many accidents here have been caused by foreign drivers driving heavy vehicles? Shouldn't there be more stringent guidelines and assessments before they are allowed to drive in Singapore?
